Well it looks like finally the good people of Mexico are standing up and taking back their country. Hopefully, this will to change things there infects our society here in the U.S. to eventually end the insanity of the failed drug war.

The war on drugs have been going on since the 1980's, with no progress. The only way to win is legalize it, tax it, and regulate it lie we do alcohol.

To treat addicts as addicts is a novel approach that will not go down well with the hell fire and brim stone bunch. For religious reasons we can not interfere with free enterprise. Lawyers, judges, jailers and others depend on the criminalization of addictions.
